Who is MFEnclosures?

MFEnclosures is a Texas-based company with the goal of building bad-ass boxes and showing our clients how and why they’re built better.  Our pics of enclosures are sparse, momentarily, as we transition from being a dealer only, nationwide manufacturer, into  online/retai sales as welll. So bear with us please, we have over 150 part numbers, so this is going to take a minute

!”Pre-fab” has been a dirty word for a long time. While some are better than others, few are rebuilt and updated constantly like ours. Our lead engineer is always working with employees to see how we can refine our boxes even more. A box will be designed and built several times over before we are certain it is production-ready.

Unlike many other manufacturers, we predominantly use 1/2 inch MDF instead of 3/4 inch. We find that 3/4 inch MDF makes the box heavier, takes up more valuable air space, and makes the box difficult to ship and install. 1/2 inch MDF allows for more airspace and less weight at the cost of more complex engineering. Our windowed bracing, stack-fab designs, and occasional double-facing make this possible.

Between the two main designers/builders, we have 60 years in audio and custom enclosure experience. If there’s a better enclosure in our target range, we want to learn from that too. Otherwise, we would gladly put our enclosures up against anyone else’s. We put quality over profit and deliver to anyone who feels the same. Thanks for reading, give us a try.
